insert the game and press RESET
• Boot of PS1 games on CD Original/Backups

insert the game and press RESET
• To see original/backup DVD movies:
insert the disk and press RESET
• DEVOLUTION MODE :
turn on your console and hold down the RESET button for 3/4 seconds, then release it and press it again once.;
In the very uncommon case the chip wouldn't enter the devolution mode, and you see a black screen, just press the Reset button again.
N.B
The devolution mode will start only if you have already installed the Bootmanager software in the memory card!
▪ TO TEST THE CHIP INSTALLATION USING THE LED:
The new
Prodigy 4 incorporates a new, interesting function: a LED is installed on the pcb, and it will turn on if the chip is working correctly, both before and after the wires installation!.
Please Note:
to verify that the micro-processor code is working correctly, you should only connect the alimentation and massa, and if the led turns on the internal code and the chip are working good.

As soon as you installed the chip with all its wires, check the following table to understand the chip status:
• TEST LED blinks (turns on and off) :
the chip works, it was mounted correctly and it executes all the patches.
• TEST LED always on :
the chip is not working correctly, it wasn't mounted as it should. Please check your installation.
• TEST LED always off
:
the chip is not working, ensure that it's correctly supplied and that all the wires / connections are mounted correctly just like in the schema.
